Owners Kim Lockwood and Gina Miller, along with part time employee Tiffany Snyder are  certified AFAA Personal Trainer.  Training seesions are available by appointment only.  The cost of each session is $25 per hour.  Kim, Gina and Tiffanny all have their own unique style of training.

Gina's Plan

First you'll  start out with a  fitness assessment.  The assessment consists of strength, cardio and flexibility testing.  Baseline statistics are recorded in a private file only seen by you and Gina.  Along with the assessment results Gina will record your weight, measurements and three photographs.  The photos consist of three views fully clothed.  The views are a full frontal, full rear  and a side profile.  The assessments are important tools used to plan out an exercise plan specific to your needs.  As well as a measurement of your success.

Once the assesment is complete  Gina will go over the test results and together the two of you will discuss your goals for fitness.  Based on assessment results and your personal goals a personal training plan will be developed for you.

Gina's average training session consists of two parts.  The first 30 minutes  will be devoted to cardio and strength training utilizing callistics, walking, ellipticals and weight training while listening to upbeat music.  The second half of your session will focus on stretching and stress reduction through an eccletic type of yoga, floor exercises and therapy ball usage as quiet music serenades. Yoga poses will be modified to fit your needs and breath training will be used for relaxation. 

 

Most training plans require a minimum of one hour session per week.  Two sessions per week will help you attain your goals sooner but sometimes time and money are an issue.   Gina prefers to train each client at  least once a week but not more than twice.

Personal Training is a personal committment to yourself as well as to your trainer.  Because of the committment involved Gina requires all clients to pre-pay five sessions $125.  No refunds for cancellation, no re-scheduling less than 48 hours, no exceptions.
